printt
Am I missing something here or is there a real difference? I've yet to detect one but that's not saying much... Thanks, printt

If you "Move" it, you have the opportunity to change its facing after you put it down, saving you the time and trouble of issuing a second "Rotate" command. (Sometimes you don't get the rotate automatically when moving; I suspect a minor bug.)
Panzer Leader
When you use "Move" you adjust the units rotation after placing it. "Place" sticks it where you want it facing the direction it faced before. Very small and insignificant difference.

Mattias
Yes L.T. there has to be a bug somewhere there.. Every “first” time I use Move the “turn to” line does not show. After having manually turned the first one with the “O” button, the second unit I “Move” will automatically get the “turn to” arrow. This bug seems to “reset” itself so every time I use Move again after having used other commands (or at least at some unknown interval), the bug reappears and I have to manually “O” the first unit.
