PMG
has anyone else noticed the similarity between Combat Mission and Close Combat?

Abbott
I have played both CC2 and CM. CC2 lasted about a week on my hard drive. CM has been going strong for a year and there is no end in sight. I see no similarity in the two games other then they are based on WWII.

Maximus
Ahh yes, the ol' CC to CM comparison. Let's not get me started on that. CC = 2D WWII real-time, squad-level tactical combat CM = 3D, WWII turn-based/simulataneous resolution, battallion-level combat with highly accurate data and combat resolution including highly accurate armor penetration calculations [ 05-08-2001: Message edited by: Maximus ]
