close combat

I have played both CC2 and CM. CC2 lasted about a week on my hard drive. CM has been going strong for a year and there is no end in sight. I see no similarity in the two games other then they are based on WWII.

Ahh yes, the ol' CC to CM comparison. :D Let's not get me started on that. ;)

CC = 2D WWII real-time, squad-level tactical combat

CM = 3D, WWII turn-based/simulataneous resolution, battallion-level combat with highly accurate data and combat resolution including highly accurate armor penetration calculations
