Abbott
I had lost a large library to a storm several years back. One book I am still trying to replace was "The Encyclopedia of German tanks of World War II". Books by the same title are available however they do not seem to be the issue I lost. It was hardcover only and a very large book. I would guess it to be (approximately) 12x18 inches and loaded with black and white photos. Does this book sound familiar to anyone? If so would you happen to have Author, publisher or ISBN available so I may try to track it down again. Thanks in advance.. mrcobbler
author = Peter Chamberlain you can find it at Amazon.com for about $16 plus shipping. Not hardback, but surely the same book. Really complete. Shoeman

GreenGriffon
I just bought that book from Amazon about a month ago. They also have a similar encyclopedia in the same series on American and British tanks as well.
Måkjager
Abbot..that book you are talking about ie the HB edition has been replaced by the soft cover edition of the same name. The authors were Peter Chamberlin and Hilary L Doyle , technica Editor is Thomas L. Jentz. It was published by Arms and Armour Press / London/ Melbourne. AFAIK the softback is the same as the hardback...with a few corrections . Sorry i have no ISBN for you...that disappeared under some spilt black paint Måkjager
Abbott
Thank you all for the responses. I will purchase the soft cover edition (now that I know it is the same one) if I can not un-cover a hardback somewhere.
