Manx
I would imagine that some of you may have already discovered this site. I found it fascinating and a great guide to the OOB for German units during the Normandy campaign. There's also an interesting article on just how effective (ineffective) Allied Air-Power was and the role it played as German divisions raced to the Normandy sector. Great site! -- German OOB [ 11-04-2001: Message edited by: Manx ]</p>
Redwolf
Yeah. I came around it a few weeks ago and I really wont these Sturmpanzer IV in 2. Pz. on the first Normandy day! Something similar for the Bulge?
JasonC
Yes, it is an excellent site. There is a wealth of stuff there, and although I've talked about its data at great length here, I think I've only scratched the surface of its usefulness to CM players. Especially anyone running an operational campaign. Because they had data on units down to how many 81mm mortars and MGs each battalion had, the varied light cannon load-outs, differences in divisional artillery composition, etc. Couple it with any solid narrative history on the Normandy fight, and you can make many accurate campaigns and scenarios.
