Peter Cairns
I am using CM on an iMac with system 8.01, and it seems to be running progressively slower and then crashing. Games that when I got it in January were fine now seem to crawl along. I disabled the title movie but it doesn't seem to have helped much. Any one got any answers or suggestions. Peter. M Hofbauer
If it was a PC I'ld say typical symptoms of memory leak. But I am not familiar with Macs.
phil stanbridge
How much phyiscal memory do you have? Are you using virtual memory? How much hard disk space do you have?
kmead
I would upgrade to OS8.6 ( http://www.info.apple.com/support/downloads.html ), upgrade the memory to 128mb at least and allocate @96mb to CMBO. Update the video drivers to the latest ones available for your computer. If you download the 1.12 patch for CMBO ( http://www.battlefront.com/downloads/index.html ) the graphics update is included. Once you do your updating, go into your prefs folder in your system folder and throw away your CMBO prefs. CMBO will then make a new prefs file when you start it up again. I run CMBO on a revB 233 imac and have done all of the above and it runs fine. Good luck.
