von Murrin
No, I didn't invent the perfect mod tool. I wanted to know what the best program to make them is. Who knows, maybe I can try my hand at it and make something releaseable? Nathanael
von Murrin
I should add I had a horrible fight with MS Paint (I'm not Juju) last time I had the time to try, so whatever else, please. Nathanael
Gyrene
Photoshop is it. Everything else are wanna-be's. (Granted, much cheaper wanna-be's) Bow down to Adobe, who maketh the features for all others to clone. Gyrene
Scipio
I prefer Paint Shop Pro
Ross Moorhouse FUTURE
I use both Paintshop Pro and Photoshop. You can d/l a demo of Paintshop pro. Do a search for it on say www.google.com or if you have some PC mags lying around you should be able to find it on one of the cover discs.. aka_tom_w
Photoshop is THE standard, in graphic design and new media design (web design), the learning curve is steep but you can do just about anything in Photoshop. -tom w
von Murrin
Thanks all. That should give me something to learn until CM:BB. Nathanael
WWB
I will toss in a late vote for corel photo paint, which does most of what photoshop does at a much better price. WWB
voidhawk
If you want realcheap (i.e. free!), you might like The Gimp - a PhotoShop-like program that is native to Linux, but also has a Windows version. I use both and they work equally well. Just as for PhotoShop, there is a steep learning curve though..."layers" is what it is all about.
