house base mod

Has anyone done a mod to take the square box look from the base of houses say for example some steps or porch that juts out or even some grass up the sides that takes away that 90º look

That can't be modded, only building walls can be.

Some of Magua's buildings have ivy & grass growing up the side as well as 2-D stairs and porches. They look very realistic as long as you don't push the perspective too much from level 1. I love 'em.

Tanks and infantry can be 3d quite effectively. why not houses?

or even an extra 3d base plate mod that you can attach to a box (house)

What they're getting at is that in CMBO you can change the BMP files, basically the 'skins' of objects but you can't alter the shape.

All 3D models are hard-coded and compiled into the executable. Thereby making them untouchable. This was done to maintain accuracy. We can't have laser hover tanks floating around on the WWII battlefield now can we?

However all textures can be modded except for a few exceptions. A 3D illusion can be achieved with the strategic placement of shadows on the textures. There's several mods that use this method.
