JeffRaider
How are mines represented visually? I know that the mine-laying side sees minefield signs, but what are the graphical effects of them detonating? Shown? And what about the opposing force. Do they get some graphic to show possible minefields, once they pop a few? Just curious...

Moon
When one of your poor squads stumbles upon a minefield, you'll notice What happens is that you see and hear some small explosions around the squad - usually followed by some ARGH and UGH sound of the unlucky fellas... After a minefield has been "spotted", a minefield marker appears. You cannot order your units into known minefields - when you do so they will try to evade it and find a path around. That is, if we play as the Russians...
Guest Captain Foobar
If you would like to see a screenshot of these minefield "markers", go over to my website. There is a screenshot entitled "bunker", which shows some of these in the backgrund. http//www.ocaptain.com/combat [This message has been edited by Captain Foobar (edited 04-02-2000).] [This message has been edited by Captain Foobar (edited 04-02-2000).]
Guest Ol' Blood & Guts
Captain Foobar, why didn't you use UBB code for your link? Like this: http://www.ocaptain.com/combat Or HTML code like this, Captain Foobar's site ------------------ "I am not interested in the names of your fathers...nor of your family's lineage.
