ASL Veteran Posted June 19, 2000 Share Posted June 19, 2000 If your stuff is being shipped by air, which I suspect the majority of these are, then it doesn't matter how far away you are from the place it is being shipped from. Air Freight companies have everything shipped to one central location where all packages are sorted. Once the packages are sorted they are then sent back out to the appropriate region. If I wanted to ship something from San Francisco to Los Angeles using Federal Express my package will first be sent to Tenessee where their central terminal is (if I remember correctly).
