JeffRaider
Does someone know where I can get some paper with hexes on it, or if there's a good program that will let me print it? Can I just buy hex paper at a stationary store, or what? I'm designing an operational-level game of June 7, 1944 to May 7, 1945, sort of a CM companion for a buddy and I, and I basically ripped all of my hair out trying to copy and paste hand-drawn hexes in MS Paint. Any suggestions/thoughts?
Guest Babra
Practically any hobby shop sells hex paper. Check your local stores where the deviant Dungeons and Dragons Freakzoid Sociopaths hang out. It's usually waaaaay overpriced though. ------------------ Floreat Jerboa !
Shooter
You also might want to try a fabric store that caters to quilters. My wife gets her stock of hex grid paper there. I pilfer it occasionally. Much cheaper than at the D&D shops! Check it out! ------------------
Gregory Deych
There should be some hex sources on the web, which you can print out.
Spook
As a graphics exercise some time ago, I created "hex paper" with a Canvas Graphics program. I can have this re-converted to a bitmap file (which MS Paint can recognize), zip it, and e-mail to you. Does your Yahoo e-mail address allow attachments? gaffertape
I've bought it before at a stationary place. Try an Office Depot, Business Depot or Grand & Toy
JeffRaider
Thank you for all the replies!! Yes, my yahoo allows attachments and I'd love it if you could send it. My brother really liked the freakzoid sociopath thing, he's one of them. I didn't even think to ask the little geek. Thanks!
Ash
There might be some programs on the web that will let you print out hexpaper from your printer. It doesn't hurt to look around. ------------------ The names Ash, Housewares
