What does giving AI +1,+2 etc do?

I know that if you give the AI a +1 etc it makes it a tougher opponent, but does it have specific effect (better spotting, more accurate fire, better morale, all of these, etc). The reason I am interested is that I might modify my tactics if I knew just how the AI was improved.

It gives AI more experienced troops so it does all of the things you listed. Hope I am correct with this...

It puts the experience level of the AI's troops up a notch. +1 will make Green troops into Regulars, or Regulars into Veterans, whereas +2 will make Green troops into Veterans and Regular troops into Crack troops, etcetera.

try this:

- pick Chance Encounter

- select computer experience + 3, fog of war off, 1 player

- look at the experience of a few computer units

- abort and pick Chance Encounter again, only leave computer experience at default

if you see different experience, your CM is different than my 1.02 demo, 1.03, or 1.04. so hand over your beta 1.05 already for me, any green units still are, ditto regular, veteran, etc

seriously, what does computer experience do? or does it raise values but not tell you for some WYSINWYG silly reason? or does computer experience not change if FOW's off?

I was under the impression the comp experience made the comp play better.. not long ago someone made the analogy that at +1 it graduated grammar school, +2 it graduated high school, and at +3 its the teacher..
