Stealth
Does anyone know if Kali or Gamespy supports CM?
Phoenix
No, it does not, and there are no plans in the near future to do so. Too much $$$ and time that is being spent on stuff that's really important. Namely CM2!
Stealth
Kali and Gamespy support depends on Kali and Gamespy modifying THEIR progs, not changes to CMBO. The major benefit to us users is that we could then see an internet-wide lobby of who wants to play in one fell swoop.
Guest Mirage2k
Read http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/Forum1/HTML/013655.html for the official BTS response to a question of this nature. -Andrew ------------------ "No, it's not that kind of relationship. We're just friends. We are together all the time, but I never touch her porcelain skin, her soft, red lips, like rose petals from the emperor's bathwater! Bathwater, I tell you, bathwateeeeeeer!" zgrose
If it helps people find each other, there is a service called network54 that allows you to create JavaScript based chat rooms for free. You don't need to register or anything to use it. I haven't tested compatibility with Mac browsers. It took about 15 seconds to setup, so if anyone wants to use it to find opponents, give it a try. If it works well, the page (or one like it) could be incorporated into the battlefront.com site. http://network54.com/Hide/Chat/46800
Col Deadmarsh
Tournament House http://tournamenthouse.com is trying to do just this--organize a forum so everyone can go in and easily find an opponent for a TCP/IP game. Right now, TH is using I believe, an IRC chat because the Java one was loading too slowly. The owner of TH, Yobobo, would like everyone's opinion on what they want in a chat room so try it out and give him your thoughts!
