Francesco
Hi to all! Playng the demo mt Panther took two hits causing two internal armout flaking (I know that this was very common with ww2 tanks) but it (and its crew) didn't suffered any demage! Could sombody explain this to me? Thanks for all the replies! Bye! Francesco
jshandorf
Obviously the flaking wasn't that bad, or your crew is just real lucky. Don't worry.. You will have plenty of tank crews that die horribly. Don't be so anxious with this one. Jeff ------------------ I once killed a six pack just to watch it die. Francesco
You're right! Which i the medium-typical effect of teh Internal Falking?
Maximus
Internal Armor Flaking could just mean that that interior armor is just starting to come apart. It doesn't necessarily mean that pieces are coming off and flying around.
jshandorf
More often then not flaking doesn't kill anyone. In fact I really can't remember when it has be a concern of mine in any tank battle. Guest MantaRay
I have never seen one crew-men die. I guess it is possible, but when I see that message flash, it usually is a good indication to get that unit to some sort of safety. I seem to notice it more on Panthers than any other tank too. David Aitken
Model walks into shot, dressed in military overalls with leather helmet and goggles, covered in oil and grease and soaked with sweat After a hard day in the Sherman, my skin feels dry and taut. cut to moving diagram of skin surface All this grease and oil clogs up my pores, and my combat effectiveness is reduced. cut to shot of product But new Super Pershing changes all that. With its unique fast-acting formula, Super Pershing puts an end to my internal armour flaking and leaves me feeling fresh and confident. cut to shot of model fraternising with French girls Super Pershing. Clinically proven to put an end to the menace of Mk.V Panther and the discomfort of Mk.IV Tiger! closing product shot
Thermopylae
I've seen one poor assitant driver killed by internal flaking...of course the next round as everyone shcoked tried to reverse, a 75 long barel put an end to the entire tank..
