WWII Games

As a collector of WWII specific games,I am completely overwhelmed by CM. The community is even more overwhelming, the mods and fixes, are first rate. CM is more reminiscent of HMS Dreadnought, the first in her class. With more modifications, and the use of the latest technology, she should look like an Iowa Class battleship soon. The whole "We Go" principal, will soon be implemented by Pc game designers everywhere, "monkey see, monkey do".

I know people will always have opinions, on what they think is the best WWII game. I look at WWII games a bit differently. Because of the severe lack of any Pc games in the WWII genre, we should praise, any effort, by any company, that even attempts to get off a half way decent game. Bashing of certain games is unjustified. Of course, some WWII games stand well above the rest, CM is a perfect example. Without the trials and errors, of other WWII games, where would CM be? Big Time Software, did something very rarely done, they listened to the gamers, and paid attention to detail. They didn't rush, they opted for perfection. How many WWII games have you bought that could have been gems, but the Big Bosses wanted the game out yesterday? Designers that create WWII games are under constant pressure, will the WWII game even sell being the biggest.

With that said, please be thankful for any WWII games, society would rather shoot aliens.
