Kanonier Reichmann
Sorry about the rather bland topic (when compared with the previous flame wars I've read) but I'm wondering whether anybody else is experiencing problems wirh their Voodoo 3 2000 Video Cards. Now, before you all suggest I need to download the latest Voodoo drivers I have already done that from the official site PLUS upgraded Direct-X to ver. 7.0a (as recommended by Voodoo manufacturer) yet I STILL have a problem The problem is simply this, everything else seems to be working fine except for the explosion graphics. Now all I see is a horrible white blocky thing every time a shell hits the ground in contrast to the former effect of a proper blast with bits of earth flying around etc. Has anyone experienced this & if so can you please advise how I go about fixing it? ...he says exasperatingly... Regards Jim R. ------------------ What's that! Is that the spluttering sound of a 700 HP Maybach engine? Oh SH*T....Panther!
pcelt
Suggest you revert to V3 Driver 1.04------no problems with smoke or explosions.
rich12545
For one thing, you should install (reinstall) the video driver after directx.
Frenchy
I use the same card. When I installed it and uploaded the latest driver it's worked like a charm. Explosions, smoke, etc. all look good. Reinstall the latest driver. ------------------ Webmaster http://www.trailblazersww2.org http://www.vmfa251.org
