humback
My M1A2 and M2 were engaging enemy tanks at the same time, and while the M1 had already engaged the enemy tanks several times, my M2 was not reacting to the enemy at all! The crew had clearly spotted the enemy, but there had been no action. Edited Tuesday at 02:41 PM by humback
IllegalLettuce
Probably can't guide a missile through trees
Centurian52
Try manually targeting the tank with the M2 to see if it has a line of fire. Line of sight and line of fire are not the same thing. As IllegalLettuce said, the trees may be blocking the TOW's line of fire.
Chibot Mk IX
did you issued any movement order mixed up with a pause order? If not then it is likely a LOS issue, the target is in a concealed position, the M2 doesn't have a clear LOF to fire on the target's turret or hull part.
humback
The TOW-2B supports radio guidance, so the trees shouldn't prevent the TOW from being guided. Enemy tanks then destroyed the M2, and I don't think the M2's line of fire would have been blocked while the enemy had it.
Chibot Mk IX
Do you have a save file of pervious turn?

I gave the M2 the Hunt command, so the M2 stopped when it encountered an enemy.

ATGMs have more difficulty getting through tree branches than sabot rounds (though sabot rounds have more difficulties with trees in CM2 than they probably should have). It's also worth considering that a line drawn from the enemy tank's muzzle to your Bradley won't be identical to a line drawn from the Bradley's missile tubes to the enemy tank. So it isn't always safe to draw conclusions about what lines of fire your forces should have based on what lines of fire the enemy has. The only way to be sure that you have a line of fire is to use a target command (it's generally a good idea to use a target command to check your lines of fire as much as you can when moving into a new position). If the line is light blue when you hover the mouse over the enemy then you have a clear line of fire. If it's dark blue along a portion of the line before transitioning to pink then you don't have a line of fire (the pink segment should indicate where your line of fire is blocked, though this isn't always reliable). If it's grey then some members of your unit have a line of fire while others don't. You can right click to cancel the target order when you're done checking your lines of fire.
