Johnlondon125
For whatever reason, my game goes from good ground textures, to blurry ones, then back to blurry. Is there a terrain mod that addresses this, and simply removes/replaces the mini textures with the normal ones? Bulletpoint
No, it's one of the issues with the game engine, unfortunately. It constantly shuffles detailed ground textures into and out of memory.
Johnlondon125
I guess I'm confused, because in my game I have random blurry squares.(that pop in and out often) When I watch others play the game they don't have this effect.
Codreanu
Increasing the graphics settings should help, one of them deals with the LOD pop-in range but I don't remember which one it is. If everything is already maxxed out then it's as good as it can get.

You can try using Shift+[ and Shift+] in-game to watch it happen in real time.
callada
I also suspect that the engine is aware of occlusion from trees, so if you have a square that would have been blocked by trees but you have them turned off then that one will still render with the lower LOD texture.
