LutzP
From a noob, a noob question: When I purchase units for a Quick Battle, some "single vehicles" and guns come with very little ammunition. When I buy formations, some units (like mortar or MG teams) come with an ammo bearer. Is there a an equivalent option when I buy a single unit? In other words: Is there a way I can buy some more ammo for my lone infantry gun or SPG/SPH? And: Is it correct that the QB purchases under the "Artillery" category are exclusively OBA? I see that I can buy, for example, a Priest battery/vehicle either from the Formations/Artillery, from the Formations/Armor or from the Single Vehicle/Armor categories. In the first case the vehicle/battery is OBA, in the 2nd & 3rd onboard. (The assumption is supported by the fact that I cannot add onboard teams/vehicles to "Artillery" formations.) It is a steep and exceedingly joyous learning curve …
BornGinger
I don't think you can get more ammo to your guns unless the supply trucks contain some of it. But I doubt supply trucks contain other ammo than for small arms and panzerschrecks/bazookas. What do you mean by OBA? LutzP
OBA = off-board artillery, i. e. not on the map. Yes, I tried to add trucks, halftracks etc. with "supply" in their name, and they all came with ammo for their own inherent weapons only. Seems ammo supply is "organic to the formation" or "none".
