kcs
A friend of mine just bought CMBO and we tried to play an email game. I saved the game and sent it to him, but he got an error message telling him that I needed to upgrade my version of CMBO. I had 1.05, but just to make sure I upgraded again. Then he noticed that he was shipped 1.03, so he upgraded as well. Now we both have version 1.05 fresh off the web, and we have tried again with an entirely new file, but it still gives this same error message - what gives? joeski
Well you probally have to start over cuz your save file is 1.03? Just a thought.

Joe Shaw
Two thoughts: 1. Did you start the PBEM game ALL OVER AGAIN? Or did you just try to run the same turns from the previously created game? The PBEM game, IIRC, has to be created in the same version. 2. Are you certain that the update "took" on both machines? Check the version number when the title page comes up to be sure. Other than that I have no idea. Joe
