Dismount Phenomenon

Just checking:  In CMBS when I order a dismount I noticed that a text message saying "Dismount" appears above the vehicles next waypoint.  Never noticed that b4.  Is that normal?

I've seen that above the infantry unit's next waypoint, but not the vehicle's. It's new to Upgrade 4:

"EXPANDED WAYPOINT DESCRIPTIVE TEXT: More special unit commands (such as Hide and Deploy Weapon) will now be marked with white floating text above the waypoint they are assigned to."

Thanks.  I will pay more attention as it seemed that the text was above the vehicle's waypoint.  (Unless it is now possible to dismount at a vehicle's intermediate waypoint??)

So more likely that was the vehicle crew's way point labelled with the "dismount" text. Or if you explicitly dismount a passenger it could look like the vehicle's way point.

1) If you select a team that is a passenger and give them a way point to move to that first way point will be labelled with "dismount". That order will be executed after any vehicle movement orders are finished.

2) If you select a team that is a passenger and give them a dismount command it will generate a way point near the vehicle with the text "dismount". That order will be executed before any vehicle movement orders being.

If you do #2 above with the vehicle crew (might need the bail out command for this) I think the way point will look like it comes from the vehicle.

@Erwin, does any of the above explain what you are seeing?

I work off my aggression on the CM battlefield but I think you way would do me so good too

Used to "enjoy" kickboxing training till I f****ed myself up and had to have major surgery and years of rehab.  Ah, good times...  (The kickboxing was fun as well.)
