Hi, guys. My friend who bought CMBS is not so used to writing things down in English since he and I are both south koreans.

So I've decided to write this post in place of him.

I've  heard this game offer 1 vs 1 pvp style multiplayer game which requires each other's IP addresses.

He wants to play match but actually few koreans play this awesome game so you can assume that he got no one to play with.

I've decided to buy this game soon though. Till then he's alone playing single player just like a poor puppy left alone in the house when the owner went out for the trip :/

If there's anyone who wants to play this game with him Contact me delfosisyu@gmail.com

Then we can make an appointment for the match.

P. S. By the way, are there any CMBS utility tools to help arranging match? If there are, please notice me.

I've  heard this game offer 2 vs 2 pvp style multiplayer game which requires each other's IP addresses.

Hi SFOD and welcome!

Black Sea and other Combat Mission titles only support 1 v 1 PBEM or TCP/IP multiplayer, if you want to do 2 v 2's or anything like that you might have to get creative, and it has been done before!

I hope your friend finds a worthy opponent and I hope to see you and him around on the forums!

"2vs2" That part was typed by mistake though but it's very interesting that there was an attempt to make 2vs2 possible. Was that successful?

Well the way it works is when playing the game by email, 2 players would play on either side and control certain units. So for example, player 1 controls A company, and player 2 on the same side controls B company, the turn is traded back and forth between each of the two players for there respective "units".

Play by email means 1 minute turn based only? Anyway, that is a good idea, limiting each player's role as a company or platoon sized troops commander. I also hope to try if I have a chance to play a multi.

Sadly no.  Many people wish for one and it would be a good idea.

He might have more success playing turn based multi player (PBEM as it is commonly refereed to) using drop box to exchange turns.  I see you already have one taker for such a game. Another alternative is to join one of the wargaming clubs on line check out a discussion of some of them here: http://community.battlefront.com/topic/107265-pbem-opponent-wanted/?p=1407990.
