womble Posted September 15, 2014 Share Posted September 15, 2014 If only one party upgrades, they'd better keep a backup copy of 1.12 since as soon as some orders are generated in engine v3, the player who hasn't upgraded it won't be able to open the turn they receive. Both have to upgrade for either to be able to play their side of the game in the v3 engine. Most of the time, if you save the game under 1.12 (engine v2) during an orders phase, you'll be able to open it again in 1.20 (engine v3), though forward compatibility of in-progress games isn't always guaranteed. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
