MacEwan
User Interface •Three different sets of camera controls; Standard (traditional), First Person Shooter, and Real Time Strategy •Optional graphical Command and Control link tracing •KIAs are shown in the Soldier/Crew Panels to track soldiers lost during the game •Option to disable music separate from other game sounds Am I misunderstanding this or does it mean that units that are KIA will stay in the soldier/crew panel during a game instead of disappearing once "buddy aid" has been performed? Because after buddy aid my units are still disappearing off of the soldier/crew panel.
A Canadian Cat
Am I misunderstanding this or does it mean that units that are KIA will stay in the soldier/crew panel during a game instead of disappearing once "buddy aid" has been performed? Because after buddy aid my units are still disappearing off of the soldier/crew panel. They used to disappear from the panel when they became casualties. Now the only disappear when they receive buddy aid. It makes it easier to tell who was hit and what weapon the squad lost. This is one of those interesting features: lots of people asked for it and once it was in CMRT about the same number said the did not like it.
MacEwan
Right, that makes sense. Thanks for the reply. Kinda too bad though, I was hoping they would stay even after becoming KIA/WIA, just mark them as dead or incapacitated. Oh well, thanks again.
Erwin
Yeah, I find that feature useful. Glad it's in.
Doug Williams
I am among those who do not like it. Simple solution: Give us a toggle.
