Lacroix
i dont get it 100%. the latter the better? or its more complicated? specially important for me if later versions are more durable/ able to survive AT guns for example is Tiger mid (costs more in rarity but less in $) better than tiger Late (costs less in rarity but more in $) cmbn v2.12, no modules installed and while we are here, is tiger stronger than panther in cmbn v2.12? (not king tiger or something similar)

womble
Generally, the points cost is supposed to reflect combat efficiency. So if a later model costs more points, it's probably got an addition somewhere that makes it better in some way. The fact that in the "right" period, its rarity grade is closer to "Standard" is just gravy. You may (depending on the precise piece of equipment) find that the rarity class will change with date, so that Tiger "mid" might have a higher rarity multiplier in the previous month. It just depends on what service dates BFC have been able to ascertain. It's certainly possible for a later mark of some gear to be inferior to an earlier mark, if the design was changed for ease of production rather than improved combat performance. And sometimes that change is "below the abstraction layer" and doesn't make any difference in in-game combat effectiveness, so doesn't change the points value.
