Lacroix
is there any way to improve graphics by changing options in the catalyst control center (Anti alias and other stuff) i read somewhere that by changing something in Nvidia settings you can make the game look better, so i wonder does it also apply for radeon graphic cards if possible, what should be changed these are the options Anti Aliasing anti aliasing mode anti aliasing samples filter anti aliasing method morphological filtering Texture filtering --------------------- anisotropic filtering mode anisotropic filtering level texture filtering quality surface formate optimization frame rate control --------------------- wait for V refresh open GL triple buffering Tesselation ---------------- Tesselation mode Maximum tesselation level HD 77501gbddr5 <<><><><><><><>><<> )
Bulletpoint
This is a big topic, but generally speaking, the higher the setting, the better quality graphics, and the bigger the performance hit. However, depending on the game, some of the settings might be rejected anyway. For example, enabling v-sync should remove all screen tearing, but some games just ignore the setting on ATI cards. For further info, try googling each of the settings. It's a lot to study, so you could just try setting it all to max, then if the game runs slow, exit it, reduce some settings a bit, re-start the game, check performance, and so on. Also tedious, but maybe less than grogging the tech.
