Artofwar
I finally stumbled upon a way to easily undo an improper terrain map hex placement ...... meaning I was putting in some Light Forest Terrain on the map I was editing and as per usual I put some where I did not want them ... Usually, after doing this mistake I would pick the actual terrain I want for the hex, and click here and there and on this and that to change it but I figured out I can just Right Mouse Click (RMB) on the hex I screwed up on and it changes it back to where it was Everyone knows this perhaps but it is a welcomed encounter..... it is a shame so many dense caveman type people like myself are allowed to buy great computer games and then do something pointless in an editor like this and then talk about it on the forums lol. Now I won't panic when editing a map. Happy Hunting
kohlenklau
Art of War, I think I do know that but haven't always remembered to use it. Thanks for reminding me. So, if you have CMFI and spend time over in that forum maybe you saw my scenario factory thread? If so, would you care to crank out a small map for the scenario factory? You can just brainstorm something out and maybe a few sentences on what tactical issue you thought of as you made it. Then other craftsmen can take it from there to finish the units and AI and all the rest with credit to you in the designer's notes for the actual original map. PM me with your e-mail address if you are interested and we'll set up a drop-box folder.
