Jamesy
The camo uniforms in CMBN look great, of course, but do they add anything to a unit's concealment in game terms? I have searched the forum for this specific issue but did not find it, so I apologize if you all already know the answer.
Vergeltungswaffe
It doesn't matter if your units are modded to a bright pink Hello Kitty scheme (you can find THAT here) it won't affect anything in game. In fact, here it is.
Jamesy
Ah, it's a shame that the camouflage gear doesn't add anything to concealment - but then if it did I guess we would see nothing else! So, I have gone over to the Hello Kitty scheme, heh. Thanks for the quick response Vergeltungswaffe.
womble
What we don't know, though, is whether different camo patterns or uniform colours are modelled with different concealment modifiers in different terrrain. I'm meaning the known historical patterns that may (or, indeed, may not) be part of the inherent attributes of our pTruppen, and could (if they are, in fact, included as factors) be dealt with in different ways by the engine, "under the hood", regardless of the actual pixel representation used.
Vergeltungswaffe
We may finally find out about that with snow suited infantry in the Bulge.
