jceharris Posted February 17, 2013 Share Posted February 17, 2013 Have edited a scenario - but I seem to get script errors eg Error Decision Event(1) Could not find #ALIGNMENT_POSITION yet all I have done to the base scenario is added a few extra units why would i get this error when I can't see any decision events that have the #ALIGNMENT_POSITION property sorry to be a pain I just want to get the most out of the editor Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bill101 Posted February 17, 2013 Share Posted February 17, 2013 Hi Is this a campaign from the base game that you've imported into Breakthrough? Only prior to Breakthrough, Decision Events had a field called #FRIENDLY_POSITION= which with Breakthrough was altered to be #ALIGNMENT_POSITION. If your file contains #FRIENDLY_POSITION= then you'll need to change them to #ALIGNMENT_POSITION, and amend the details accordingly.No need to apologize for asking for help, it's our pleasure to do so. Hubert Cater Posted February 19, 2013 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Hi Jceharris, If you look in your installation folder there is a subfolder called 'Manuals'. Inside there is a document called 'Expansion Notes.pdf' and it outlines all the changes/additions including script changes for Breakthrough from the previous releases. Hubert Cater Posted February 22, 2013 Share Posted February 22, 2013 No problem at all jceharris, if you press the F2 button before you start your game a DEBUGLOGS folder will be created and a number of log files will be created that keep track of the decision events as well as store all the after turn summaries including event popups.
