PeekingDuck Posted February 11, 2013 Share Posted February 11, 2013 Hi, I've had the game (SC GC Gold) for a couple weeks now and am enjoying it except one thing. I just can't get used to the tiles/map. I have searched the forums far and wide looking for a mod that might allow me to change this game to a hexagonal map. I have not found such a beast. So, I have two questions, well three really: 1. Is there a mod that will allow me to use a hex map? If not, is there a means to make one? 2. I seem to recall the original SC had a hex map? Was there even an explanation as to the change in map style? 3. Is there a new iteration of the game being planned, and if so, are there plans to have hex map as an option? There is no mod or way to do it that I know of as the game was designed with the isometric tiles in mind. 2. This was just a design decision at the time. 3.
