Schrullenhaft Posted October 27, 2012 Share Posted October 27, 2012 Is this SC WW1 or the Breakthrough expansion ? The 'Error: errorcode' typically suggests that your game has been deactivated. This is usually the result of a hardware change to the computer or a reinstall/upgrade of your operating system. Breakthrough MIGHT be a bit more sensitive to some changes than SC WW1 (it uses the same copy-protection system as CMFI). I don't think that a campaign/mod should cause this sort of problem though. I suspect that something has changed about your computer since you last ran the game. Submit a ticket to the Helpdesk and we'll send you the gsClean utility to wipe out your activation and reactivate the game, which should hopefully get you running again. Schrullenhaft Posted October 27, 2012 Share Posted October 27, 2012 Unfortunately there is NO WAY to avoid deactivating of the license key when you make a hardware change. The copy-protection system assumes that the change suggests that it is running on a new computer and deactivates the license key. This is generally intended behavior. You have to reactivate in order to run the game again (using up another activation). If you run out of activations you can contact the Helpdesk and we can add one for you.
