Win/Loss Record by Attacker vs Defender

Hello All:

It seems that in the games I have played PBEM, the attacker wins nearly all of them. Maybe I am a lousy defender?

What are you noticing for your record as Attacker versus Defender.

Depending on the terrain and game settings, any other house rules agreed at the start the Attacker has better chances of winning out the gate in my opinion. A regular PBEM opponent and myself tried out some different settings, based on our skill levels reducing the Attacker strength -10% made for a closer game, -20% would of probably been even better.

Those are the the Attacker and Defenders point differences in an Attack scenario for medium force size, about 1000 points nets you an entire Veteran Company with High Morale fully loaded with bazookas. So if you want a good close game on the A&D setting consider adjusting some values to balance out for skill level and so on.
