  1. Depending on the terrain and game settings, any other house rules agreed at the start the Attacker has better chances of winning out the gate in my opinion. A regular PBEM opponent and myself tried out some different settings, based on our skill levels reducing the Attacker strength -10% made for a closer game, -20% would of probably been even better. Medium Force Size: 3175 1945 -10% 2867 -20% 2560 -30% 2252 Those are the the Attacker and Defenders point differences in an Attack scenario for medium force size, about 1000 points nets you an entire Veteran Company with High Morale fully loaded with bazookas. So if you want a good close game on the A&D setting consider adjusting some values to balance out for skill level and so on.
  2. Would be nice, if you look at the HQ units the Battalion HQ in particular he has those bars that show personnel strength, morale, condition, suppression and all those that change throughout the fight. So all the data is probably there including casualties so some type of Situation Report that you can toggle whenever you want could include all this info in raw numbers, average ammo, morale and so on amongst the Battalion. For platoons or squads that have no contact the SitRep can show "Cut Off - No Contact" or whatever all the information is there and can be obtained and analyzed but some type of overall battle condition report would be mighty cool.
  3. Yea I'd pretty buggered if I saw an ATG set up on a second floor, the reason I opted against setting it up in building at all, not sure if it was designed that way or just the scenario. On that note though It wouldn't be too surprising to see a 37mm U.S. or a 3.7cm pak 36 setup maybe on the second floor. Would seem pretty risky doing that in reality but the risks may of paid off.
  4. Hey guys, did a search but didn't come across any specific details of this so will drop the question here without starting a new thread. Just started a scenario PBEM and was able to deploy the U.S. 57mm ATG in to a house with good LOS, happened by accident but I was also able to move and deploy it also on the second floor of the house. First time I've seen this and wondering if this is a legitimate tactic in the game?
  5. I think you could pull this off in a WEGO. Anyhow I think the main issue here is more with the PIV getting the short end of the stick regularly when trying to spot while stationary. For some reason this tank sticks out like a sore thumb.
  6. Hello, These findings are interesting and also do confirm somewhat that there is some type of issue with the PIV as I've experienced before. I wonder if it its the same with all the different models? I tend to avoid using them now as having these things happen I get the feeling that when fielding one it has some type of defect with it. If I use them it is for very close infantry support or a mile away in a hull down position, just no confidence to engage enemy armor with it.
