I have a great interest in the Sherman DD tanks that came ashore at Gold Beach, Juno and Sword Beaches, not to mention Omaha, with mostly tragic results. I always loved the pictures and news reel shots of the DD tanks advancing with infantry with their "skirts" lowered as the moved inland from the beaches. Am I the only one that is DD nuts or what....If it can't be done, oh well I thought it would be neat anyway. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
