Amadeus
I am not sure but when attacking with one unit and swap with an adjacent the second unit could not attack this turn? That should be false isn't it?
lhughes41
I think I've been able to swap and fight in 1.
Amadeus
No it do not work. Start a new game. Take the 8th German Army and swap like it is shown first. Afterwards you can fight only with one of these armys not with both.
lhughes41
o that might be true. but I believe you can attack with one army and then swap it out and attack with other? In your case you swap and then attack with both. which is different.
Winti
Try to swap the Panzer and the motorized infantry then it will work. I think it is related to the movement points of the involved units. Indeed you are able to move one tiles with swap regardless of the movement cost of the tile, but no attack afterwards if all movement point lost during the swap movement. Amadeus
Thanks maybe I mixed my thoughts with the game Panzercorps. There you could always attack and move without any dependence. I mean if you move and attack the army in a row it works but if you move and you wanna attack later in the turn it won't.
Amadeus
Supplement to my view. Units could swap more than once in a turn and passive units move without having enough Action Points.
Preusse
Also rail guns can swap outside railways!

What I find out is if you swap the tank it takes 2 AP for a movement that should take only 1 AP. When I swap the Panzer for example to the red circle the tank had 1 AP left but any army loose only 1 AP when doin the same.
Hubert Cater
The Rail gun unit swap should now be fixed, thanks
Hubert Cater
Hi Amadeus, Regarding your last point, what is happening is that all swapped units are reduced to 1 AP if their start AP is > 1. Otherwise they are reduced to 0 AP. Hubert
Amadeus
Thanks Hubert, what if swapped units uses forced march after swapping for example? I am playing the tourny at the moment. So I guess I will show an example here in the forum to show what is difficult to understand.
Hubert Cater
I can see from a test that this is possible but only 2 AP at most and it does reduce your morale considerably for such a small movement so I'm not sure if it is worth it but in some situations it might be.
