  1. Hang in there Butschi. If there's one nation which has tricks up their sleeve and a will to survive, it's the Germans. You'll find a way and be not just warmer but stronger too before this winter is through. And I'm sure most people on this board are grateful to Germany for their support for Ukraine in these past two seasons. Surely the western alliance isn't coming apart now.
  2. I accept the terms Steve. The practical cornerstone of democracy is majority ruling and I'm in the minority here, so don't want to upset the applecart. I'll reiterate only once that loss of the 2-sided coin mentality will chip away at free speech by and by, but I know saying it is getting old so I won't say it again. And yes we all need sleep. Kind regards, Mark
  3. Then I guess we're here for two different reasons, which is not a problem. I suggest we stay on the central topic, which is what I'm interested in.
  4. Scotland under the Covenantars were pretty strict, but you guys never were part of the Inquisition. Surely you won't start that kind of policy now.
  5. CM is a good game, though I'm not a hardcore player and watching streams from a certain youtuber is more fun. He suggested the forum post for more information on the conflict. The conflict is the topic of this thread, not CM specifically. Why are you here?
  6. Elvis and Steve were very clear and rightly so; don't attack other posters. So if you call me a vulture, that's not a step in the right direction.
  7. The region is relevant when it comes to strategic assets and nuclear targets; but please don't think I'm against a United Kingdom. The Union Jack is a pretty flag : )
  8. So long as your country or my country doesn't hang him, that sounds right to me.
  9. It's not annoying everyone. Some people like a 2-sided coin, not a 1-sided one. As I stated at the beginning, the other outlets you are mentioning now are dominated by a group that wants to see the world one way. CM encourages strategic thought which in no way aligns with bone-headedness, so I hoped to find better information here. And I have found lots of great detail here, from certain posters. And once more, Aragorn, you and me might have to work together in a trench sometime. Let's keep it civil or those poker games won't be as much fun.
  10. He's the leader of a country in the world, so he's a world leader. And like me you're in a free country of the Western world, with humane standards. You've recently indicated that you want to preserve the free world. So I'm going to take that as confirmation that you didn't mean to previously state that you think that the West should hang a world leader from a butcher's hook.
  11. Not Russian, though some ties to the US by family. And you spoke like a defender of a free, inclusive country.
  12. The comment on Page 82, suggesting a future action, referred to a current world leader.
  13. I recall an earlier comment (from Page 82) about hanging a world leader upside down from a butcher's hook. Such an action surely, if committed by a Western nation, would mean the end of the free world. As to Sarah, I'm doubtful as to her qualities as a leader, but she looked good on the tube.
  14. Indeed, Putin would not attack Ukraine if it was currently in NATO, much like the USA would have had to have thought twice about attacking Cuba if Cuba was part of the Warsaw Pact. As to Canada and Alaska, they are thankfully not nuclear opponents. We have enough trouble in the world without that.
