  1. Well he would...cue massive eyeroll at Russian milblogger blinkered chavinism...
  2. Airborne radar gives a much more different view of the ground and airspace, no? I don't think it's an apples-to-apples comparison of radar range...
  3. I diont think its a transport plane, but a Ilyushin Il-22M “Coot”. That and the A50 often operate in tandem, AIUI. Like with the last A50 shoot down. So here the A50 is hit at relatively low level and makes splody hugs with the ground, while the IL-22M is also struck but lands, sadly..
  4. If I was hauling that double deck bus anywhere and got a missile warning I would start mashing everything in reach...
  5. Or air launched? Flight angle seems S-> A though. To clarify - it was hit overland and snotted down near Mariupol?
  6. Graphic warning. Results of UKR ambush of RUS during retreat from Avdiivka.
  7. Probably "coup de main" is more accurate for what they intended.
  8. A50 strike video with eng translate/ Looks like it fired off all its flares, 1, maybe 2 missiles were deceived but the rest of the salvo kept going.
  9. Plus possibly an Il-22M damaged, but landed. Aww. Since Mariupol Theatre I have wished nothing but a screaming horrified fiery death on every RuAF pilot and crew. All of 'em.
  10. UK MOD does seem to be paying close attention. UK launches military drone strategy backed by $5.7 billion funding and Ukraine analysis. Breaking Defence
  11. Certainly for the contact based munitions, although close enough and you'd set it off anyway? But there's plenty of vids where these could have saved people. Several people shooting these at an approaching FPV would do something.
  12. I'd be glad for something last ditch like that. Anything.
  13. We'll see. Yet more blather while Ukrainians bleed.
  14. There's a threshold where the quantity matters first, in terms of availability.
  15. Well yes, of course UKR. But why is there some excessive cost to An armored brigade? ZSU has extensive experience with armored formations. What am I missing? There's a translation issue here I suspect, probably on my end.
  16. Syrsky looking at his recruitment and training process first, while the ZSU tries to hold on. He's right. Any thoughts or extra info from our UKR friends?
  17. I dunno, but I if theres one thing I personally took away from last year's summer offensive, it's that single lane mech assaults led by heavy slow engie vechs into defended dense minefields are pointless. Multiple lanes on a broad frontage with many expendable and immediately replaceable Unmanned mine-cearers offer better odds.
  18. Well, Ritter is a convicted pedophile so why are they giving him any daylight? Just answer anything quoting him with details from his sentencing etc. If being negative to a pedophile is a bad thing then those people have lost their moral values up their bum. McGregor, oh McGregor.
