  1. Usually special forces get those weapons, But saying that Russia would send over ARs for this type of thing is really stupid. They also captured a few other NATO weaponry why not also put those? But since you guys been there and even in frontline situation with the rebels im sure you know BTW I really do hope no CIA is reading this or I'm screwed
  2. Also I would like to say unless one of you have been to Ukraine and seen what happened you will not convince me 1% where as I have been there for 2 weeks, Volunteer helping the government rebuild certain things and help spread out food and water.
  3. I can also get a link showing a report of NATO weapons in hands of Ukrainian army, Also showing that America and EU has fueled the riots in Ukraine will that make you believe?
  4. There is a huge difference between the RPG-7 being in the hand of rebels and a TOW-2 missile being in the hand of rebels. RPG-7 has been exported to many countries alike where as the TOW-2 has not. Russia is supplying a legit government unlike the U.S. so I do not get what makes you think supplying some Al-Nusra and Al-qaeda related groups are you guys joking or serious?
  5. What is that suppose to mean? Are you trying to argue or be a comedian?
  6. So if it's not a TOW missile what is it? And saying that special forces did all that in Ukraine is not logical at all I do not want to offend you but it seems you guys forget why all this happened in the first place (BECAUSE OF THE RIOTS) not trying to shout that out btw just highlighting. There is footage of a rioter using a sniper rifle and guns, Even throwing molotovs. But when the government starts to defend themselves "Oh my god they are killing their own" how about the countless crimes police in America have committed against their own people? And Syrian civil war has been fueled by America and its allies, Saudi Arabia sends most of those terrorists over there where as the American government trains and supplies them. But I don't think this argument will get us anywhere we both believe in 2 opposite things.
  7. I get what you are trying to say but there is no tanks coming from Russia you can trust me on that, I have a example for you. If Obama supports rebels in Syria openly with US ATGMs and other training, But everyone says it is alright when they do it. But when Russia does it Russia the "big bad bear" and "putler" is bad man. So of course Putin will try to hide it, Not much people will be fond of it in the west because every media source that is in America shows Russia bad in anything it does. There is more to it then just Ukraine it goes back to the 1920s when the USSR came along, And America decided it wanted to get rid of it.
  8. I didn't think I would have to bring this up and im hoping CIA or other agencys dont arrest me if I go to their countries but I went to DNR at November and I will not lie I'm sure there is Russian special forces units there but not the size you people are claiming there is, I even been to Веселый which is right next to the airport. And I have not seen one BTR-82 or T-72B3 I talked to one of the lads over there and I asked him if there really was a Russian units here and he said there are lads from spetsnaz but nothing game changing just there to train, And provide recon or do sabotage. Im not gonna deny Russian troops there but what I will deny is the amount of Russian troops that America and its allies says to be there. Its not fair to Russia, If you compare the lists of things NATO bombed or went to war with you would understand this. Its not fair that the people who are there did not get to vote, Just right wings protesting and they got what they want with the support of America, Do you guys deny this? If so show me. Because I can show you evidence that America supported the protest in Ukraine. And here's to hoping a CIA death squad doesn't bust my house
  9. Whenever NATO bombed Serbia into the stone ages for Kosovo it was alright, But whenever Putin takes Crimea without one single conflict starting "Putler has arrived!!!" hahaha you guys are so double standard.
  10. I will not even argue with you on this thread, Because I'm sure if I do it will involve heated words and it will most likely lead to this thread being locked so I will just leave it where it is, If you want to argue this message me.
  11. Well was it a Russian submarine? No! And even if it was stuff like this is normal. The U.S. and Russia always have submarines in each other's water. And until one of them launch something at each other nothing will happen.
  12. Listen, They have information out there a guy who operated on the same AA battery that was stated to have shot down MH17 belongs to the Ukrainian armed forces. But let's say that that is Putin's propaganda because he is a "very bad man." Who authorized the Airplane to fly over the war zone? A war zone which has Aircraft and Anti air being used. Did the air traffic controllers fall asleep? They cancel flights because of bad weather yet they couldn't give another flight path because of a war zone?
  13. About Ukraine I like how supporters of Poroshenko don't take in fact the videos they have where they execute a man by cracking his spine with a kettle. Or the countless videos of bombardment of residential areas, And a ballistic missile was used but, all they think is "Putin is a bad man he is still communist" or just the simple "We hate Russia" mentality that is being presented by the government of certain countries to the population. Same type of people who believe in this stuff also believe that Russian forces shot down flight MH17
  14. Thanks for the information guys, The exercise I was talking about was suppose to be a rapid response I was sleeping and at 3 AM they woke us up and said we were going to war, I got scared thinking world war 3 started or something, And then when we were packing out parachutes they told us it was a drill and I had that quick sigh of relief But anyways we were practicing a big war type scenario we are not usually starved during a drill, But it was to see how a airborne company would hold out in a situation like that. There are two types of punishments in my opinion in the Russian army first type is things like, "Assigned to kitchen duty", "Clean the toilets", "Guard duty" "Put on your gear you're running the base 10 times" and then there is the you are screwed punishment which you do not want to get into.
  15. That drill is similar to one I participated in, Our company was parachuted and our objective was to take over a town which was basically 6 buildings and each was 2 to 4 stories high. Long story short after taking the objective my squad was to set up camp in the woods and provide defense which it was 1 week long, And my unit ran out of rations so we had to hunt and we starved during the duration and still had to do objectives such as move 3 kilometers north to ambush a squad. And then we would get ambushed and then repeat. We were ambushed and were given objectives only and we were starving it was horrible... And on top of that our extraction was to run another few kilometers and make it to armored personal carriers in a given time. This is not standard training but a drill to check combat readiness of units.
  16. Interesting I'm not sure if your saying it was easy for you or that was really the hardest thing that happens but for me everything about basic training was hard in the VDV, Wake up early in the morning dress up in 1 minute and half go for 5 KM run sometimes in full gear. If you failed to dress up in minute and half you would get a hit or two and assigned to duty after training for that day, But this was the least if you ask me there were way more harder things that happen.
  17. I have a question for US soldiers, Did you guys get beat up during your army service? And would you guys mind telling me what was the hardest part of your service for you personally? I always wondered what the US soldier would go through.
  18. I know how to sing it but not play it did they make you peel potatoes as they do now or maybe even more?
  19. Oh Ok sorry I did not understand, still I did not change my computer and I will just upgrade it, Write on here about your service in army you served 6 years I'm sure you have many experiences.
  20. What do you mean I replaced my calculator? это шутку да?
  21. I've created this topic for members who have served in the army to tell their experience, and also ask question for the members who have served which would help give information. I have served in the VDV 2008-2011, I've been deployed to different bases, And even seen action in Caucasus and South Osettia. I got training in Tula base, I was not deployed during the Georgian conflict but after it. In 2009 in South Ossetia I was deployed to a check point. And one day during the morning time I was on guard duty and machinegun fire ripped threw the block post and landed near me and then other firearms shot at us, The whole squad got ready and we were in a engagement I was shot at somepoint and did not realize it until afterwards, We shot into the forest killing most of them and they made their biggest mistake the group engaging at us brought in a van to escape which my unit and I destroyed. There were survivors which a special forces detachment found and killed im not sure if prisoners were taken. I've wrote this because I thought it would be a lot of information, If there is any questions about my service or what ever feel free to ask.
  22. Well since a tank company of U.S. M1A2s and supporting Bradleys have arrived I will move my units into advantage points and go defensive I am no longer in a situation to break through the enemy, Now my goal will be to artillery enemy positions so they can lose morale and get hurt or destroyed. I would use a team that can lase units to artillery and a team to support them equipped with RPGs and would try to stealthily expose enemy flanks and call in artillery support more accurately. After the massive barrage takes place I will move with the T-90AMs into tree lines and try to spot any other enemies. After picking off enemies I will move my khrisantemas to a position overlooking my assault, My infantry will defend the flanks, My tanks will now move in with the cover of the Khrisantemas and the support of infantry I will try to break his now weakened lines, I would use artillery without over thinking it because that will be the best way to weaken the enemy without taking major damage.
  23. Armata will be shown off in parade of may 9 this year, It will be in service by 2017 but it will be in large numbers in the year of 2020. What would be cool is if they could have put in Kornet-EM, it's the Kornet ATGM with a 8km range and has ability to fire two rockets in salvo at a tank which would bypass APS or totally overwhelm a tank. As you know Kornets are very powerful, And that would also help Russian side if you ask me. It would be good if they could also put in the T-72B3M(or B4) Which is the T-72B3 with a panoramic sight and also I think it adds a few more things but I do not know. Thanks, And yes I know the U.S. is known for their organization in their wars, But Russia also has its own sure not as good as the U.S.'s but its not going to be a major difference except for a few advantages the U.S. will get from that. The T-90AMs and the T-90As, T-72B3s also have data link capability. In terms of spotting I think they should be equal, M1A2 has a commander panoramic site which the T-72B4 and the T-90AM have.
  24. M1A2 has great FCS and a great Sabot round, But I am not much convinced that the M1A2 has the Advantage over the T-90A and especially the AM variant which has Relikt. But the T-90AM will not be so common in the Russian army in the year 2017 because in 2016 the Armata will already be in service and T-90AM may be bought together with the Armata (T-14) which would be a great balance. The Armata will bring whole new armor into play but its understandable that the game makers cannot put it in because there is not even one picture of it. But it would have been nice if they maybe put the advantage the T-90A(M) really does have against the M1A2. Like its 2A46-5 125mm cannon, Its advance FCS its got new navigation and communication systems. M1A2 should be equal to the T-90A not be able to go against the T-90AM with a great chance, Also on the T-90 series and the T-72B3s has Nakidka a radar absorbing material which helps against thermals, tv seekers. Making the T-90AM being able to be destroyed by the M1A2 Abrams by a large chance should not even be a thing. Only if the M1A2 gets the first shot which would contuse the crew of the T-90AM because being hit by a very fast sabot will shake the tank very roughly. The T-72B3 and T-90A and AM variants have thermals so spotting should be equal among these tanks not to mention their FCS is modern level.
