  1. Thanks so much for the reply lanL.  Oh OK, I wasn't sure if deleting them would hurt anything so thought I'd ask before screwing the game up.  So sounds like it wouldn't but you are right I was doing it strictly to keep the performance

from slowing down but if that doesn't make any difference then I won't.  Thank you for that also.

One last question if I may.  I am assuming that the new maps would go into the "Z" folder just like the uniform mods?

  2. Hope this is the proper place to ask this question but couldn't find one that seemed better so here it is.

I was wondering if I could delete original maps that came with the game without hurting or screwing up anything.

I know you'll want to know why so I'll explain.  I plan on downloading some new one's ( mods ) and since I never use maps of town's or cities I'd like to get rid of them to make space for the new ones.  I figure that since my machine is kinda border line anyway it might help if I get rid of some since I'll be adding quite a few new ones.

i strictly play quick battles and have gotten bored with the few current ones that I've played over and over being hills and clear maps.

Anyway that's my reasoning - for what it's worth.  :-))

  3. Thanks for the replies.  I see what you mean.  I was just wondering why you felt that way.  It would be kinda gamey I think they call it and I agree.  In my case so you don't think I would cheap or anything :-))  I solely play

quick battles and while it's nice to be able to see afterwards it would kinda be interesting to me to see while in game but then I probably play way different than most.

  4. I love this game but there is one thing that keeps bothering me over and over so thought I'd mention it.  Maybe I'm missing a known fact or something.  What it is is that you can't position your squad the way you think they should position themselves.  Like when I have them sneak up to a ridge you can't make them spread out all along the ridge top.  I know there's a way this could be done because I've seen it in other games like like Shogun where you get an option of formations to choose from.

Any thoughts on this or advice to deal with this pesky problem of mine.

  5. Thanks for the replies.  Good point Bulletpoint.  I normally don't play anything except quick battles so this might not be an issue but glad you mentioned it as if I get bored with the QB's it could be of importance.  Jim1050  I am and yes I looked at the description of the pack but wasn't sure if BF would or did detail each and every single vehicle so is the reason for wondering.  Well, the answer is probably not but thought I'd at least ask as you never know.  :-))
