    New features/feature ideas for CM for the next few years thread

    Hm... Hm...

    1 Possibility to transporting infantry men and equipments on the tanks.

    2 Possibility of changing the "lines of movements and States of the units, thinner lines and style by movement."

    --Example: line intermittently for the movements in the "assault" in closing its movement by a square around the unit and not the awful points and white triangles.

    --Normal movement dotted lines.

    --Fast movements in the form of arrows.

    3 More details to place and designate a shot or a final movement.

    4 Possibility to change uniforms for the distinctive, before playing a scenarios in advance, or via a link for example, be able to load the directories with the distinctive prepared with the sounds adequate leisure gamers, I'v got about 10 :cool: directories only for each units Ger US Uk Can Pol what I do already for now but before CMBN launching.

    Point of the line, thanks in advance for the realization of my wishes :D

    Give your's "big feet" the real sound

    Hi Erwin

    For the Sherman sound it's different because his sound can be used to other's tanks 'there is no big difference between the sound from Sherman or Kpzw II or IV or a Firefly or a Sturmgeschütz all medium tank...":rolleyes: because the sound is similar Allied or Axis.

    Anyway the Sherman is a medium tank and not an heavy tank.

    In my opinion there is no heavy tank in use CMBN in the US army side we can find one in British service, The Churchill, but I have to verify???

    And for this one I have prepared a sound too.:cool:

    This is not the case for the Tiger because his sound is different and you can not give his sound to another tank uncluded another german tank like Königtiger or Jagdpanther it is ugly (for your hear a special sound).But a beautiful sound for himself,(anyway destroyed the sound from tiger it is wrong) I put the wrong one on the forum...at soon a new one, apologyse about it :o

    The first package represent the "Sherman tanks Big feet sounds 1 " avalaible for : medium tank track, engine idle heavy.wav

    Backup your's files from ...\vehicle loops folder

    Put the file's to your "Z" folder.

    Copy and paste the news one's

    vehicle loop engine idle heavy.wav

    vehicle loop move medium track

    These represent the real sound from the Sherman tank.

    ...At soon the German tanks Big feet sounds 2 Available for Tiger.

    Planned Allied Axis tank "big feet" : Königtiger,Jagdpanther, Panther, Churchill, ...

    What about Civilian's in CM serie's

    Hi

    I don't know if this threat is allready posted.

    I know the BIG Hq CM have a lot to do, to realised all ours dream's and game play, that we hope in all details that we want, helped with modder's many many thanks to all of you.

    We know that the DDay was a succes, because the Resistance or partisans played a big, I repeat a very big rôle, in this succes, without them the landing in Normandy will perhaps not be possible or a desaster.

    It will be nice WHEN it's POSSIBLE, I repeat when it's possible to added some guys to represent small's fighting civilian group's (remember) "Les sanglots longs des violons de l'Automne...).

    I thinks in CMSF these guys are present "(guerrilla)" but I don't have this game.

    Anyway we can use them in other module or futur module's like (CMIF Bagration), jump in the Netherlands CMMG or late to defend Berlin CMDB and created the "Volkssturm" after the CMBugle release, without forgot to jump of CMJH Heraklion before.:P

    Comment please, stay :cool:don't :eek: to much it's only a suggestion :D

    Feature Proposal for combatmission?

    Very nice good Idee, I love it and It's could be very interresting in the new CM generation or Patch 3.0.

    A view like Theatre of War, a touch of reality, to be the tourret commander from the beast, with of course have the possibility to make a choice to manage the gun and shoot Up or Down and have a clear vision of impact.

    But in this case we have to use the same prosses to the infantry too, is this realisable I don't think so ...some comments?:rolleyes:

    I used the CS3 10.0 not the last one but enough for me I will download the filter asap.

    I'm busy at a moment to learn mapzoneeditor not very difficult but I think it's only to make landscape street way... and it's old to.

    Yesterday I was looking to Crazybump for free but seems it was a pay version probably it was a wrong link, I'm looking later.

    Well download down I will see what can I do, and I know now where can I have some add informations about CS3 :cool:

    I woul'd like to see like Buzz a conventional conflic like NATO and Warschau Pact we can perhaps see tank's and vehicle like M48 Patton, Chiftain, Centurion, Marder, Leopard all T'54 55 62 familly UDSSR and the new 72 tank's Bmp Bmd Btr and all tanks and vehicle's from Nato and WP in 80 year and many many more.

    Modder's I need your help

    My knowledge and research said this

    When you explode (for exemple) the Normandy v200.brz file with your Mod Tools

    you find a lot of data files and...

    the smod_american_m41_uniform 1.bmp (this a picture data)

    the smod_american_m41_uniform 1.bmp normal map (this a 3D effect)

    the smod_american_m41_uniform 2.bmp

    the smod_american_m41_uniform 2.bmp normal map...

    To be clear

    I woul'd like only added some informations of uniforms like medals Einserne Kreuz, Purple Heart, or band of ammunition and many many others things but in this case:

    I have to modified the file

    smod_american_m41_uniform 1(2,3,4,5) .bmp normal map

    because every file bmp need a...normal map.bmp to give it this 3D effect.

    Most of the people, modder's modified the bmp's files but don't touch to a ...bmp normal map.bmp

    ex:

    I do not want to see all my soldier's have to wear a band of ammunition on the schoulder if I modified one and only one file

    I want find only the Mg, Mortar's and Bearers if is possible.

    The us-nojacket Mod from KilgoreT and mjkerner is an exeption in this exemple below

    Modified files

    smod_american_m41_uniform 4,5,6

    smod_american_m41_uniform 4,5,6_normal map

    Then I have to modified the file "3D effect" but I don't know how? Photoshop... any idee about it?

    Or do I have to modified a special file like ...-lod 1.mdr file or.mds file?

    To resume I recieved a lot of informations about my project from (mjkerner) ;) and very helpfull but some points are allways to be clearyfied.

    Greeting to all of you :)

    Modder's I need your help Juju Mord ...

    I am very present on the Battlefront forum...every days.

    I appreciate your's big work's details and finess to your's mod's, sometimes funny.

    But in the mods domain I don't have big knowledge.

    Piece a cake : you will say it's looking good but sorry, it's doen't work :mad: I made already several's tests without good result.

    sometime it was a missing of soldier on the battlefield but don't worried I found it again (lol)

    How can I do this, may or should I create myself a new file (like :smod_american_m41_uniform 1_normal map)

    Is this the only file I have to create or modified ?

    It's my futur suggested mods realisable, possible helpfull?

    If I can do this I will created a lot of modifications on ours small soldier believe me everything wasn't said again about CMBN CMFI...???

    Hi all, greeting to all of you Senior member at first, I'm The new today as a registred member, but since long time ago like you, I'm a great player of CMBO... B... and now CMBN CW and probably late (CMBN BgtoFr and CMBN BtlBg) before we turn in east or we try to make a trip to the Japanese army :P
