  1. I play Squad Leader instead of Advance Squad Leader via VASSAL, as well as many other old school and newer war-games. I find SL so much easier to play vs ASL. About 99.99% of all my games are PBEM and SL plays well. Let me know if you need a game or two.
  2. I would very much like to play CMSF but I only have a MAC! I just picked up CMBN and I'm hooked, I need more! Thanks Stink
  3. I agree that Devil's Decent is a good one to learn with. Nicely done too.
  4. true that!! also, I'm new to CM but I've played old school war games like panzer leader and squad leader all my adult life and what i want out of a game is not eye candy. I want to be able to play tactics. I want to play a game where I still have the feel of chess game but the thrill of simulated combat. I can't say anything about any other computer game that models tactical combat because so few of them have been made available to us Mac users, for me CMBN is the only computer game like this that I have played. But, I can say that CMBN has everything that I want in a game: realistic LOS, combined arms, and tons of scenarios.
  5. Well, for me it CM BN since I own a MAC OS X. I hope Battlefront continues to make games like CM so I can play!
  6. Any word on the Mac patch? I'm really looking forward to playing this bit of Ranger history!! Stink "RLTW"
  7. Rangers Lead The Way! I'd be interested in a Ranger scenario if anyone has one.
  8. Thanks everyone, I've been playing Deville and it seems that the tactics to secure the the bridges are straight forward, finding my way around the field of play is limited by only viewing the terrain from a 1st person perspective, still getting the hang of it, placing units are slow too. I've managed to get a few wins at the entry skill level setting too! Any suggestions on other basic scenarios? I like the armor.
  9. Hi everyone, I just purchased the game and I've played a few scenarios. So far I have found the game to be genuinely addictive! This is my first CM product and I'm so glad that Battlefront has decided to make this available to us Mac users. I have grown up playing board games like Panzer Leader and Squad Leader so this game makes total sense to me, I get it. I can see that there are layers of details for me to discover and I enjoy learning the tactical challenges that lay ahead. Game on!
