I have a question for the bosses... I know that BF is a smaller company, but simply out of pure curiosity how big and how small? Just very interested on a number range... My retired cop mind is naturally inquisitive.
Spelling was never my strong suite..Thank god for spell check. -

I find this whole conversation confusing.. I am not casting anything on you guys. I am reading the posts and in doing so between the lines and I still don't get the whole steam deal. What's the big deal with steam anyway?.. Just a marketing thing as far as I can tell...Am I missing something or what? I am probably just not as smart as the rest of you guys.

So having said that does the USSR forces have some kind of advantage re ATGM fire against NATO forces.. But I would say that ATGM from USSR forces were fired from the halt. So they could target the oposition.
-
Did the T-64 have ATGM capabilty...Did the T-62 have that ability too?
-
As is the old tried and true observation is "He who sees first fires first usually gets the hits first"... Or something along those lines. First order of a gun fight is, "Bring a gun".
-
That would hurt...

Another interesting note is the M-85 50 cal. in the cupola was problematic during fighting in southeast asia. When the crews mounted a 50 cal. outside the cupola. In the following years we see the m-85 being used again in it's intended role... I find that somewhat interesting.

Having said that was NATO forces primarily in a defensive mode against the USSR..When the USSR was clearly the evader. NATO forces going over to counter attack might have some degree of gunnery issues.

So as far as CMCW is concerned more accuracy is achieved when the M-48 or M-60 is halted.

It's interesting that the turret is like an M-48, but the hull is a give away.

I think so I pulled it off the WEB

I check the BF website and I saw the cold war post and my first reaction was WTF is this. I could believe it.. Someone posted they thought they were having a dream.. I know it's funny and possibly strange for someone to feel this way about a game, any game. I guess the kid in me and possibly most of us love history and our respective countries military. With all the books fictional and otherwise written about and east and west clash would play out. It for would not be without great loss and destruction. As in the movie Patton George C. Scott said, "God help me I love it so".
