  1. You overdo it by a factor of ten, but my real complaint is you needling Sarge (and many others over the years) about things they actually do provide, free, for your own G-D enjoyment. You’ve hit him up twice in two days. If you aren’t going to produce anything, and harass those that do, then I will tell you to F**k Off every time. You are a user and a taker, plain and simple, and there is a whole legion complaining about you off site. I broke my silence, because you complained one too many times about regular, non-BFC people who provide content—for free—for your enjoyment.  You can complain about BFC all you want (they just ignore you, as I have all this time, until now) but you are way off base when you complain about the guys who make  content for our enjoyment. And while you’re at it, it wouldn’t hurt to thank people who try to help you with issues (check your comments; these incidents, too, are legion) instead of doubling down like you did with Sarge.

Elvis, I’ll gladly take a ban...it was worth it to get this off my chest!

  2. 4 hours ago, Warts 'n' all said:

MJK, the very idea that General Simpson would stand on the Siegfried Line giving a "Heil Hitter" salute is almost as ludicrous as suggesting that the lead singer of Bromley Dave and the Self-publicists would do the same thing from the back of an open top Mercedes in Victoria Station.

    The horror!

  3. No, you can only combine teams from the same squad. It’s really straightforward, John. As Khalerick showed graphically and I tried in writing, each infantry squad in the game either has 2 or 3 teams. When those get shot up and lose men, you may want to combine them, making them stronger but at the cost of losing flexibility (can no longer split that combined squad). By the way, in a three team squad, you can combine two teams without having the third one in the same square, thereby turning a 3 team squad into a two team one.

  4. Let’s try this another way. Say you have a German squad from 1944 set at 70% head count. So you might have one team with 3 guys, one with 2, and one with 1 (inevitably with an leg, it seems). You may want to keep the flexibility of having 3 separate teams for maneuver purposes. Great. When they are all in the same square, they will still be 3separate teams, so you can maneuver them indecently as you please. But if you just want to have one beefed up team, you can combine them into one (or two, but then you have to have one of them not in that square when you combine) and from that point one, that squad will be one squad with one team/element that cannot be split. It’s all in the manual, or used to be anyway.

  5. You can re-combine 2 or more shot up fire teams/sections into one squad if they are in the same square. Normally, you can’t combine squads except into the whole platoon, and even then there are 2 or 3 separate teams, depending on the TO&E. After being shot up, say one team lost 2 of 4 and another 3 of 5, you can combine into one (and it will act as one team...can’t re-separate them.
