  1. I had a strange instance where I target a anti-tank gun with off map 81 mM mortar that was under control of a platoon HQ. When the fire finally arrived it was several hundred yards off target. The HQ or its superior HQ did not move and were not targeted, so I don't think it was a C2 problem. The only thing that might have happened was the AT icon went from being identified to only a ?. If one loses target ID after ordering indirect fire, will the fire just proceed wildly? Should I have used area fire as opposed to targeted fire? Thanks.
  2. I think this is actually ok. I was confused because I could upgrade my carriers in these ports. Apparently upgrading does not require an intact port. My mistake.
  3. Playing 1939 game as allies and found that I could repair USA ships in damaged (strength 1) ports in recently taken over Japansese held islands (Saipan and Betheltop). Interestingly, I could not repair british carrier in recently recaptured Antwerp. Seems like a bug.
  4. I am kinda hoping today soon. It is Friday after all.
  5. In my game Germany defeated Russia and I wanted to use operational movement to garrison some cities along the trans siberian rail line. However, the line was inoperable beyond Sverdlosk because the next stop was town (maximum captured efficiency 30%) as opposed to a city (Maximum captured efficiency 50%). Thus even if the next city was at 50% I could not deploy because of the intervening town. There are several areas on the map where this is the case. Seems to me that the trains should run in these situations and that the rule should be modified to allow OM to towns that are at 100% of their "maximum" undamaged value.
  6. I am the axis and Russia has surrendered to Germany. Why can't my japanese troops enter Russia?
  7. I am a new player and have a couple of questions. 1) I don't really understand the relationship between a units action points and a squares movement cost. How can a ground unit with 1 action point enter a mountain square with no road? 2) Do special forces units have better mobility in mountains? In China they seem to be able to enter mountains where as normal armies cannot. 3) How exactly does supply effect movement?
