  1. Having a problem with mission 1. Blew all 4 walls of HQ, but still did not get points. Not sure why.
  2. After March 13 Steve posted 2 times on the 17th, 2 times on the 18th, and then not till the 23rd. This is consistent with a release in the very near future. Also, Steve explicitly stated that CMRT would be released with in 8 weeks of the pre-order (Jan 30) and that if it wasn't, they would let us know why. Given the fact that I know that Steve is a man of his word , I think CMRT will be available for download within the next 48 hours. At least I hope so.

  6. Nelson, That post refers to 3.0 for CMBN and CMFI, not CMRT. Steve is saying that v3.0 for CMBN and CMFI will come out 2 months after CMRT is released.
  7. You sure about that? I couldn't find any mention of time in posts from Steve around that time. The only thing I could find was his initial posts saying that pre-orders are put up 4-8 weeks before the game ships. We are currently at 6 weeks +1 day.
  8. In following the threads and ChrisND's videos, it seems that one of the changes in 3.0 is that only one artillery strike can be directed by a single FO or HQ team. I was thinking that this limitation might really change the balance in some artillery heavy scenarios in CMBN and CMFI.
  9. I watched some of Chris live and during the first game (The Red Thunder Scenario) he said that the game would not get released this week:(. I hope he is wrong.
  10. played around with the scenario editor and made exact same house elsewhere on map and troops could enter just fine. Suggests problem might be related to some changes made between 1.1 and 1.12 that affected scenarios made in the earlier version of the editor.
  11. I am playing the Lost scenario in GL. For some reason my troops are not able to enter the two small houses that are objectives. I am using 1.12. Any thoughts?
  12. This thread reminded me of a previous thread where I pointed out a defect in certain buildings with regards to where the doors are located. Has this ever been fixed? http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=112659 Also, in playing the other night I noticed something interesting. If two buildings are placed next to each other such that one buildings door abutts another building side that has no door or window, it is still possible to traverse (and fire) between the buildings. Thus it is important to check both sides of the wall if you are worried about an ambush.
  13. This is a bit off topic, but I just read John Meacham's book "Franklin and Winston". It is clear that both of them were on the same page regarding Hitler. I highly recommend the book. It really shows how important their personal friendship was in the outcome of the war.
  14. I frequently forget to stop area fire and not infrequently find my infantry being nailed by my own tanks. A show all targeting line command like there is for all movement would really be helpful.
  15. I would like a line of sight tool. I play we-go and it would speed up game play quite a bit.
  16. Actually the way medals are counted has always been variable. Total is one way, golds is another. My favorite is a point system, 3 for gold, 2 for silver, and one for bronze. If done this way the current score is: 35 Norway 34 Germany 32 Russia 32 Canada 32 Netherlands 29 USA
  17. I'm stuck on the Turning Back the Tide scenario in Road to Nijmegen Campaign. Any thoughts?
  18. I'm still waiting for someone from battlefront to comment. I'd really appreciate at least a "we have looked at this and do/don't see a problem".
  19. I just wanted to bump this thread to see if anyone from BFC is looking into this.
  20. I use an MSI laptop and it plays very well on medium settings for graphics. It actually has plenty of graphic power to play on higher level settings, but the scenario load times really increase on the higher the graphic settings.
