Yeah I saw that the engineers have a mark mine command, but its always greyed out, so I'm wondering if theres something I need to do to unlock the command. RUnning over a mine is one way to detect them...albeit inefficiently..

While I was deployed I took a picture of an M1 Abrams that was completely charred by a huge IED. I'll see if I can dig it up..

Could someone explain to me how exactly I get engineers to detect and mark/clear mines? I cannot seem to figure it out.

First I just want to say that I absolutely love this game! I am having a bit of an issue though. The ground texture seems to turn green during play. It doesnt affect the performance, but the whole ground turns either green or blue depending on the color of the deployment zone at the beginning of the match. Does anyone have a fix for this or know what the issue might be? My second issue is that all the units are named in correctly. I had an infantry unit named M4 Sherman once...which..is clearly incorrect. Is there a patch for this or some other fix? THanks guys!

Updated further: The demo also does not run, Tech Support has been in contact with me, but everything they have recommended does not work. Guess I'm up sh*t creek without a paddle and in the hole $50US

ToW1 was better for me...then again ToW2 won't even start on my top end system...

Be glad you got the game to run and quit whining. I have a top end system and it won't even start for me...yet games like..oh...Napoleon Total War I can run on the highest settings.

Yeah I tried all that, I don't have the zonealarm tool bar so I dont think that could be it. I have been able to license it. After receiving the CDROM copy I was able to do that. Still not working though.

I have an Intel i7c...quad core.. The game won't start so it isn't using any resources. I also have windows 7 64 bit...so...word of caution to anyone thinking about buying the game that has windows 7 64bit OS, the game will not run.

I have a top notch system and TOW Kursk will not even start for me....so be lucky that you atleast got to see where you're money was blown..

Update: I received the CDROM in the mail today, that didn't work either. I was able to get to the licensing screen and successfully license the game. I did notice in the task manager that when the game exe is clicked windows error reporting system launches immediately after the exe is clicked and then the game exe closes.

Nope the eLicense window does not come up. No error messages, nothing happens.

I purchased the game about a week ago and cannot get it to run. I've reinstalled multiple times, tried running as admin, tried lowering my firewall, tried turning down UAC. NOTHING works. I contacted support and have not received a response, it's been roughly 5 days since I sent that. Does anyone have a fix to this?
