  1. Only just found this thread, mine turned up about 12 days ago, no extra fee. Gutted to hear that some chaps have had to pay nearly 18 quid extra, Rip Off Britain at its worst.
  2. Use the blast command and place it on or just over the hedge you want to blow. That said a simple search should bring up a link to an excellent tutorial on using sappers/Blast in CMSF
  3. Fascinating link to that video, a further search on that site reveals another M5A1 going at a hedge from about 20 seconds in, after the 105 elevating sequence. it says sherman but its the M5 your looking at http://www.criticalpast.com/video/65675075108_United-States-howitzer_World-War-II_M-4-Sherman-tank OUCH ! wonder if the driver or indeed the rest of the crew had to brace against the impact....wonder if he lost his no claims bonus too
  4. I have a Triplehead and CMBN makes use of all three screens if set to Desktop resolution. Though to be honest Id rather have it on one screen. Dont get me wrong the wideview of the battlefield is amazing but makes for clumsy command and control and it slows down quite a lot too. Triplehead is amazing for flight or tactical simulators but it dosnt do it for me with the Combat mission series. Infact Id love a windowed mode otherwise I have to unplug monitors to get it to run in a regular resolution
  5. Thanks Dave, I managed to find my outside/routers IP address but CMSF wont connect to it from my friends PC...its not offered as the IP address in game, which is clearly the local network one. All I need to know is how the heck do I come up with a connection ?? very frustrating Thanks for helping though. Port 7023 is open though. We have managed to connect in the past, but this interal ip thing is very confusing
  6. Hi guys, Im new to the forums but have worked my way through the Whole Combat Mission series. Trying to play against my old mate and adversary. Is there a definitive guide to multiplay for idiots ? Both of us are behind routers (As I suspect are many players) so the game provides the IP for the local network Have tried Hamachi (S?) but with one exception connection has been really slow. Though when it worked it worked really well. 1. So how do I/we get the PC's to see each other directly ? 2. or How the heck do you get Hamachi to go faster ?? 3. is there an idiots guide somewhere. We are in different countrys. Good ping times between us. Fly IL2 online together (via server) Skype works really well, really frustrating ! all help really appreciated Nick P.S. done the search thing on these boards maybe I missed something ?
