  1. Map "africa_mp_map_007_Wood" for TOW-2 Africa'1943. Version 1.1A new map based on standard TOW-2 map "africa_mp_map_007".Installation.Just copy folder "\maps\africa_mp_map_007_Wood\" from zip archive to folder with your TOW-2 Africa'1943 game.Attention! This map is not properly working with any mods based on static.ini file in "\data\settings\" folder because of many "Cork_Oaks"-trees objects. For a example Tartari's ToW1_Bridges.376.zip mod is not compatible. Also there are a lot of static objects on the map so It may be "freezing".This map is a "test" one for verifying an idea of making "impassable" for tanks woods. On the island two wooded areas have been added. They are not passable for tanks and vehicles, but only for troops. One area is a "Circle Wood" and may be it is an aboriginals old Holy Grove. Another area is a “Big Wood” near the river beach, which is impassable for tanks too.An idea of impassability method belongs to Vyacheslav, 1C designer. Many thanks for him.John Fisher

  2. This is an adaptation of Avalon Hill's 1992 board game ADVANCED THIRD REICH (A3R), the sequel to THE RISE AND DECLINE OF THE THIRD REICH originally designed by John Prados in the 1970s. This adaptation has roughly the same map, the same force pools and scenario orders of battle, and the same relative economic production and unit costs. The scale and scope is essentially the same, and veteran players familiar with A3R should feel right at home – right down to the customized military unit bitmaps.

  3. An updated and improved El Guettar map. Please download this version and intall before downloading/playing the El Guettar scenario(s). The map covers the critical spot where a 10th Panzer Division armored spearhead threatened to shatter the U.S. 1st Infantry Division on 23 March, 1943. The map features the G.P. 15 highway east of El Guettar, the Wadi El Keddab, and the valley and hills near the base of Point 336. A few notes: The barbed wire line represents the start of a U.S. minefield, which ran somewhere between the wire and the wadi. Infantry tend to survive better on this map, which has plenty of covering terrain. I've also included many personal foxholes and slit trenches topped with sandbags. Enjoy! -- Broadsword

  5. It's morning on 23 March, 1943, and your GIs are dug in east of El Guettar when the message arrives: "The enemy has broken through our front lines...10th Panzer Division is heading straight for you. You must stop them before they penetrate deeper and cut us off from the rest of the 1st Infantry Division..." All you've got is a scratch force of some infantry, tank destroyers, and some dangerously exposed 105mm artillery positions. Can you repeat history and stop Von Broich in his tracks? This scenario is to be played on the El Guettar March 23 map.

  6. Uses 1680x1050 resolution.Anything else and the mod will not work.1. Removes the 'pause' notification.2. Moved controls to the upper right of the screen and the minimap to the upper left. It is now in the sky so it will not take up any of your battle area depending on how you like to view your game.3. Changed the colors on the unit notification icons (Panic, no weapons, ect...)

  7. Mission for "one vs. one" multiplayer game for "TOW. Liberation of Byelorussia" with JSH mod. As all multiplayer missions this one is playable as single-player mode with virtual opponent-player. This is a variant of previous MPU_Storm_1946 mission. From previous MPU_Storm_1946 mission there are the following changes:1) for attackers:- APC have been changed to recon AVC (also some exotic ones of camerad Schreder from JSH mode);- for all the recon infantry squad have been added;- for Americans (US, army 3) heavy airborne infantry squad have been added;- for Germans (army 6) 2 SPG Jagdpanzer IV/70 have been changed to additional 2 tanks Pz.IVH;2) for defenders:- for Russians (army 1) 2 HMG Maxim have been changed to 2 infantry AT sections;- for Briton's (army 2) 2 tanks Churchill have been changed to 2 tanks Challenger;- for all the SPGs have been changed their positions from the village to the long distance flanks.3) end mission conditions:- if the player (include virtual player) hasn't one or more vehicles with OK armaments and four not panic soldiers;- if the player (include virtual player) hasn't one or more vehicles with OK armaments and not panic soldiers at square around the village or has one or more vehicles with OK armaments and OK moving ability and nine not panic soldiers out from square around the village.

  8. This Scenario captures the last years of the Pacific War and allows players to fight the last bloody battles of the war. Just as in SC2’s 1944 Operation Overlord, we now have a campaign modification that starts at the beginning of the end. In the summer of 1944 the Americans had broken through Japan’s outer ring of islands and were poised to begin the final phases of the war. On the Asian mainland the Japanese had launched two offensives, one into India and the other in China. By June the Japanese Indian invasion was going poorly with the Commonwealth's forces holding firm. But, in China Operation Ichigo was proceeding well, with the second phase, the attack on Changsha, expected in late June. In this modification the Allied player has several decisions to make. The British can push into Burma, or launch an amphibious assault to liberate Malaya. The Americans must decide on retaking the Philippines or invading Formosa; all the while taking more Japanese islands, positioning bombers closer to Japanese mainland targets. The Chinese have some American help and might be able to hold out, although they will have a difficult time recovering any lost territory. And, the Soviets are an ever-looming threat to Japan’s rear. The Japanese player needs to hold out. The decisions that need to be made are how far to push the Asian land offensives, and when to use the much reduced Japanese fleet.   9. This game encompasses all of WW2 in both theatres taking into account historical production. It is based on the PDE version of this game. The level is corp/division. Almost the full map sized is used and the only two spots on the globe not used are West Africa and the bottom part of South America.This is a HUMAN vs HUMAN game currently until I move over the AI from PDE.Please send comments and suggestions to winky3x17 within hotmail

  10. This is a Regimental/Divisional level game of the Allied attempt to cut off the Germans in southern Italy in the winter of 1944. The scenario begins with an invasion that offers the Allied player an opportunity to gain a major victory by cutting off the north-south highway early in the campaign. If the Germans can contain the beachhead the battle will turn into a fight for Rome itself.
