  1. Put them all in the quick battles folder in your shock force directory.

It is random as to which map you get so the more maps you have the better chance of a different one each time.

They are playable as scenarios or as QB. If you want to play the scenarios just put them in the scenarios folder as well.

We did not have time to give each map a briefing so you have to use your initiative and the onmap objectives as a guide.

  2. Hmm...I cannot remember puke green...maybe it's the differences in how our color is set up on our monitors. Is it marshland, grass or some particular type of terrain that is this shade of green?

I know I did make some maps that were "Euro" lookalikes. Truth be told it's maps of where my Husband grew up as a child, as best his dottled memory serves tongue.gif

  3. I am now considering a "HEAVY METAL" pack. I know QBG is slowing down slightly in lieu of the work we have done together but real life has intervened and I am a very busy mum at the moment.

I will over the next week or so put together some armour engagements and see what makes the grade. No promises as to when it will be released but Mark and I can chip away at it.

Would the community want this done before I get sued for divorce? lol smile.gif

  4. Check out the QBG latest pack. Failing that the one before it had tank on tank action.

There are a few I have made included in the packs.

I think Mark Ezra has a good listing system and can probly tell you better than I can lol.

Trust me, they are in there somewhere.

Failing that, drop me an email and I will craft you a tank battle....RED V RED, RED V BLUE or BLUE V BLUE...not a problem.

  5. ok, ceasefire and both sides get the objectives.

from 4km away.... meh...what do I care. Play a few QB's and you soon see all objectives are turned into Occupy and see how odd things get. O

I believe the parameter for Occupy is to take and hold. i.e Keeping troops on the objective. This objective don't quite work like that.

    Tom,

Check the stock maps that came with the game. You will soon see broken Max Assault and Assault.

I ain't gonna argue with you, just go make a Meeting engagement scenario with lots of Max Assault and Assault orders in the AI plan and see how far your troops get. Make sure you have the Objectives too so that they can claim it while never getting anywhere near it.

    Have fun.

  6. Tom,

I have only made around 50 scenarios for the QBG so I am pretty sure what works and does not work.

Trust me, I ran a test yesterday, Max Assault and Assault, I doubt, are working as intended. i.e Troops moving nowhere.

Occupy objective will give you the objective in any scenario of any size. Again I tested this on a 4km x 4km map by starting and then ceasefire. All occupy objectives were stated as taken. Despite being almost 4km away from them.

If this is how BFC wish things to work, fine by me. If not...these really need looked at.

Just look at the scenario that came with the map. The one where troops have to move to the little farm buildings between high cliffs. I think the one Michael Dorosh made.

The stock map has Max Assault or Assault orders. Scenario just don't work because of it. No offence to Doshy, he probly never knew that the orders did not work.

Check it out and see for yourself.

  7. As seen in another thread. They Syrians use four different types of small arms ammunition.

7.62 carbine, 7.62 rifle, 7.62 rimmed and 5.45 Would you have to have all different types available? I would like to see them modelled.

Compare with the 5.56 or 7.62 of the NATO forces.

Not counting SMG or pistol ammo...usually 9mm Parabellum.

It would be really nice to see all ammo catered for in the back of BTR or BMP....or a random mix even.

  8. AK family pre AK74 fire 7.62. AK 74 family fire 5.45 (AKSU-74) (RPK-74)

PK fires 7.62 but its the old rimmed round. Better long range characteristics, don't know if this is modelled.

    RPD and RPK fire 7.62

    Makarov pistols are 9mm

    DshK 12.7mm

    M4 5.56

    M240 7.62

    M9 (Beretta) 9mm

Must be some I have missed?
