  1. Technically the Bradley was certainly not hit. The LASER WARNING text indicates you have Hit Text turned on, so had the Bradley been hit, there would have been a Hit Text saying :"Hit: Front Turret". I dont know why but from the games perspective the round did not make contact with that Bradley.

Judging from the size iof the explosion the T-90 fired a HEAT round and its absolutely plausible that a thick branch could prematurely detonate it, leaving the Bradley crew with dirt underpants but alive.

Good catch I didn't think about that.

  2. I watched the replay a couple of times and the Bradley was backing away after the shot. It's hard to see from all the trees but I think it was indeed branches that were hit and not the IFV itself. More's the pity. One of my few shots at my enemy this game :(

Ya know Bud I just watched the video I posted and noticed that my Brad is backing up through a tree!  The moment the tree comes through the front of the Brad turret is practically the same moment your shot lands/hits.  Possible Bug or New form of American Tree Armor?  "BARK" - Ballistic Armor Round Killer

  3.

This should be a detailed battle result.
This is needed to play the CMC with CM, if  BFC thinks we play only QB, scenario  is strongly mistaken.
Players have different campaigns ( CMC) and the only difficulty is the detailed counting losses after the battle.
I suspect that there is a lot of work with the addition of this feature. After playing the campaign in CM units have calculated loss in detail.

I would think that most of the work is already done as CM pretty much does this already at the end of every battle.  We just need something to export that data to a file we can use.  I admit I am no programmer but how hard could it be to have the game export the detailed battle results to a simple text file when the battle ends?   :D

  4. I was wondering if there was a way to export units kill totals seen at the end of every battle to a text file?   I thought that I had read somewhere that during the campaign your units kill totals would carry over from battle to battle, if that's true then the game is keeping this information somewhere and I would think that ti would be possible to export that information after quick battles as well.

  5. In a recent game I spotted an enemy tank with one of my own at some distance and he popped smoke immediately. I assume that it's because of my laser rangefinder.

Can I spot something, but not have it get a laser warning by using a circular target arc that is shorter range?

    Interesting concept/tactic.

My only concern would be that your enemy may be able to see/spot you as well and chances are that he may take a shot at you.  At least with lasing you (most of the time) cause the AI/player to pop smoke and immediately retreat. That's what happened during the first turn of our game where my Abrams got the laser warning, he then smoked and backed up off that hill.  The following turn I decided it was best not to go up there anymore as you apparently have/had eyes on it.  If you hadn't lased him could you have kept eyes on him the following turns, probably, but there is a good chance I might have seen you as well and decided to take a shot at you while you just sit there.  I guess it comes down to how confident you feel your unit can remain sitting there without taking any action.  It would work best with Fire Support/Observation/Recon vehicles and not main line battle units like MBT/IFV/APCs.

    Just my opinion though.
